“Keputusan ini dibuat berdasarkan berkurangnya jumlah pengunjung akibat Covid-19 dan rusaknya bangunan,” bunyi pengumuman resmi dari pengelola museum, TBS Glowdia Inc., pada Jumat (28/10/2022).
“Kami berharap Anda akan terus mendukung kami hingga hari penutupan,” imbuh pengumuman tersebut.
Sebagai informasi, Museum The Little Prince merupakan satu-satunya museum yang didedikasikan untuk kisah The Little Prince. Kisah ini ditulis oleh penulis Perancis, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, yang juga dikenal sebagai Le Petit Prince.
Dibuka sejak Juni 1999, museum ini didirikan sebagai bagian dari perayaan ulang tahun sang penulis yang ke-100.
Selain mengeksplorasi kehidupan Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, museum ini juga dilengkapi bangunan-bangunan yang dibuat mirip seperti di Perancis dan taman-taman ala Eropa.
Pengunjung juga bisa bersantap di kafe, lalu mampir ke beragam area pameran.
Museum ini buka pukul 10.00-17.30 waktu setempat. Harga tiketnya mulai 1.600 yen atau sekitar Rp 168.776 untuk pengunjung dewasa, dengan pembelian pada hari kunjungan.
